Our band “Orchard Tales” is made up of four old friends: Cat (vocals), Gar (guitar), Mark (drums) and Andy (bass). We are based in London and Brighton and love developing our musical style, combining our unique organic, bluesy-folk sound and raw yet whimsical lyrics. We began writing together in 2010 and have gone on to record an EP as well as testing our new material at gigs in London and Brighton.
Orchard Tales’ music reflects our life experiences combining an ethereal, spellbinding innocence with the melancholy and edginess of the modern city to produce an elegant, powerful and evocative style. Flitting between blue skies, cornfields and buzzing bees and the stark, grey, drizzly reality of London, we thrive on finding magic and their own way through the wardrobe between their two worlds (did we tell you we all love Narnia too!).
